Purifying the high-salt residue from hydrolysis of pig membrane
118 2022. 5. 26.Summary
Korean bio-chemical SME has hydrolysis technology which decompose butchery by-product, and mix them with waste water. They want partner who could deal with wastewater generated after hydrolysis of high salt pigs’ membrane. Hydrolysis of the pig's membrane produces 3.5% to 5.0% of salty wastewater, they want to cooperate with corporate which has technology or experience to dispose it. Korean SME wants to be matched with partners who could be negotiating with construction costs, annual operating costs, and continuous guarantees under technical cooperation agreement or subcontracting.
Stage of Development
Description
Looking for technology to treat wastewater generated after hydrolysis of pig organs, South Korean has majored in removing odors from butchery by-products such as pig hair and toenails. Their technology not only eliminates odors and but also has less damage to water pollution. It also makes time and cost effectiveness available under mild conditions, through spending less of those. Due to chemical stability, by-products are very difficult to dispose. Existing methods of disposal produce odors such as ammonia and amine. They decompose using alkali and accelerator for such by-products, and easily break down soluble proteins. At the same time, it can be used as an organic fertilizer or as a feedstock for animals, definitely resulting in less pollution than existing methods. Currently, they have expanded their butchery by-products to pig intestines. In order to generate less pollution in wastewater treatment, the DAF(Dissolved Air Floating) system must be able to meet the final indicators of BOD, COD, and TOC. They want a form of technical cooperation agreement or license agreement with experienced partners who can respond immediately to continuous maintenance and guarantee of wastewater purification facilities.
Technical Specification or Expertise Sought
The Korean SME wants to cooperate with the companies which have history of treating wastewater after hydrolysis of pig's membrane, which contains 3.5-5.0% salt. In more detail, the DAF system should be able to meet final indicators such as BOD, COD, TOC, T-N, T-P, and NaCl (less than 2%) with the anaerobics. With the technology, we could have a conversation related to construction cost, annual operation cost, and continuous warranty under technical cooperation agreement or license agreement.
