  • Energy harvesting is an eco-friendly energy technology that harvests energy from everyday waste and converts it into electricity, storing it and using it.
  • This product utilizes piezoelectric technology, a type of energy harvesting.
  • Piezoelectric devices (energy harvester) generate an electrical energy when exposed to external pressure, such as stepping on or bending an object

  • Paving blocks measuring 30 cm x 30 cm x 8 cm (height)
  • 10 W/step (generates 10 W of power per step)
  • Equipped with an energy harvester that converts the kinetic energy of stepping into electrical energy
  • 1 to 2 mm top plate displacement (the distance that energy harvester travels to generate electricity, also the distance that the paving block lowers and raises when people step on it)
  • (optional) Electricity generated can be utilized to power LED lights embedded in the sidewalk block
  • (optional) Generated electricity is stored in a battery in the paving block
