LINKOPTICS Ltd., (LOC) developed the LED skin treatment device (BELLALUX) in 2018 with innovations such as light quantity design that can penetrate the dermal layer, simultaneous irradiation of three wavelengths, and eco-friendly material LED, and then obtained △GMP and △ISO certifications.

However, LOC lacked working capital for mass production and needed a local cooperative partner to support overseas market development.

So, LOC requested the discovery of specialized foreign trading companies through “participation in the e-brokerage event”, a side event of MEDICA along with registration of Tech Offer in EEN-MERLIN.

On the other hand, MIH, an investment company in Vietnam, wanted exclusive sales rights in the Asian market, including Vietnam, but LOC needed to be freely attracted. Therefore, we consulted on a proposal for a complex transaction method that can simultaneously invest capital, along with an ODM delivery method that can satisfy the needs of both parties.

We also supported the establishment of negotiation strategies, writing term sheets, and writing contracts for this purpose, especially the transfer of a/s technology that can be repaired locally after sales.

A technology company suffering from financial difficulties sought advice on concluding a complex transaction contract that simultaneously contracts for product export, technology transfer, and capital attraction.

We planned a deal structure so that LOC could enter overseas markets through technology-based contracts, and passed on global business soft skills, such as the negotiation process, to corporate customers to strengthen our overseas business development capabilities.
