DeltaTech-Korea Co., Ltd. discovered an international joint R&D project for overseas PoC for Future Main Co., Ltd. targeting Bosch Rexroth AG.

The company's main technology is a smart factory solution, which is an SW+HW combination that identifies fault conditions after real-time diagnosis of facility operation status.

The client company hoped to advance into overseas markets such as Germany and Japan, where the manufacturing industry had developed in earnest for EXRBM products. However, since EXRBM is a solution that combines SW and HW, and the production process is different for each plant, a PoC was needed to measure the facility defect detection rate on the site while modifying the solution tailored to the site conditions.

As for partnering support, we searched for overseas smart manufacturers through SMM (e-brokerage event) and Korea-EU technology cooperation forum, along with registration of cooperation profiles in the e-technology market (EEN-MERLIN).

As for mentoring support, close mentoring was provided to explore and select R&I support projects such as Korea-Switzerland international collaboration, international joint technology development, and research institutes for excellent companies to experiment with PoC in Europe.

In the case of technology products that combine SW and HW, an overseas PoC is required, so it is essential to link support projects to procure the R&D funds required for this.

Since Switzerland's R&D was not selected because it could not pay corporate levies, the key is to find an overseas partner that has not only technology but also the capital.

In 2023, we plan to sign a main contract with Bosch Rexroth after discovering new European R&D partners and carrying out PoC tasks.
